A recognition at the intersection of fragrance and technology
ININUM has been recognized with a 2026 Formes de Luxe Award in the Beauty Tech category for its adaptive fragrance device.
The award was presented at the Fairmont Monte Carlo on 28 September 2026, during LUXE PACK Monaco. The ceremony and cocktail reception brought together representatives of luxury brands, designers and packaging specialists in Monaco to celebrate the industry’s achievements.
That setting gives the recognition a particular weight: the Formes de Luxe Awards are assessed by luxury packaging professionals, with entries judged on innovation, technical manufacturing challenges, quality and aesthetic appeal, and sustainability.
For ININUM, this recognition matters because the device sits at an unusual intersection: it is a fragrance object, a piece of industrial design, and a connected personal experience. The technology is there to make fragrance more personal. It should never take away from the beauty of the object itself.
02
In the company of ambitious luxury innovators
The 2026 winners represent the range of ideas being developed across luxury packaging, from Beauty Tech and fragrance to materials, labels, decoration, and folding boxes. The wider winners’ list includes projects connected with names such as Rabanne, French Bloom, Avantium, Autajon, and Wauters - B.Pack.
Bvlgari is another important name associated with the Formes de Luxe Awards in fragrance packaging. Being part of the same conversation is a reminder that innovation in luxury is not reserved for the largest houses. A small company can also bring a new point of view when the product is clear, useful, and beautifully made.
03
A meaningful moment for a small startup
ININUM is still a small startup building its vision of adaptive fragrance. Receiving this recognition in such distinguished company at the Fairmont Monte Carlo was both an honour and a powerful encouragement to keep building.
It tells us that a more personal fragrance experience can be taken seriously by the people who understand luxury objects, packaging, and design at the highest level. It gives our team energy to keep improving the details that make ININUM feel considered: the shape in the hand, the way the light moves across the surface, the quality of the fragrance, and the ease of changing a blend.
04
Thank you to the design partners behind the object
A product like ININUM is never made by one discipline alone. We are grateful to Berlin Packaging and the Studio One Eleven design and innovation team for the design partnership that helped turn the idea into a premium physical object.
Their work brought together fragrance, beauty, fashion, technology, and interior design without making the device feel like a piece of consumer electronics. That balance is difficult to achieve, and it is a large part of why the recognition feels so meaningful.
There is a reason Italian design has such a strong place in the world of beauty and luxury: the best objects do not need to shout. They make proportion, material, touch, and restraint do the work. That is the standard we want to keep pursuing with ININUM.
05
The next chapter is personal
An award is a milestone, not the destination. The real opportunity is what happens next: helping more people find a fragrance that fits the day they are actually having.
Fresh for the office. More expressive for an evening. Softer when the mood calls for it. With ININUM, one device can hold more than one version of you, while still keeping the ritual, quality, and emotion of fine fragrance at the centre.
